Industrial heat pump operating experiences in North America.
Author(s) : CANE R. L. D., CLEMES S. B.
Summary
Industry highly values operational experiences with technologies that are new to them. The paper discussed operating experiences with industrial heat pumps in North America. The information covers energy performance, economics of operation, operating difficulties and design details. Out of a total of 614 heat pump installations, 22 were documented in the study. They include both closed cycle compression and mechanical vapour recompression systems in various industry sectors.
