INDUSTRIAL REFRIGERATION: VALVES.

Summary

ALTHOUGH THE REFRIGERATION INDUSTRY IS REALLY QUITE SMALL, THERE ARE VALVES AVAILABLE IN THE MARKETPLACE TO ACCOMPLISH NEARLY ANY REFRIGERATION TASK. ANY VALVE INVOLVES A PRESSURE DROP: INSTALL VALVES TO PROVIDE ADEQUATE PUMPOUT AND ISOLATION. THE MORE VALVES THAT ARE USED, THE HIGHER THE PRESSURE DROPS AND THE MORE IT WILL COST TO OPERATE THE SYSTEM IN THE FUTURE. WITH ENERGY RATES CLIMBING, IT IS GETTING MORE IMPORTANT TO BALANCE THE USE OF VALVES WITH THE COST OF MAINTENANCE AND ENERGY.
