Summary

THE RESULTS OF THE STUDY ON HEAT TRANSFER DURING AMMONIA BOILING ON BUNDLES OF TUBES WITH POROUS AND SMOOTH COATINGS ARE GIVEN. THE DIAGRAM OF AN EXPERIMENTAL RIG IS PRESENTED, AND A METHOD FOR THE APPROXIMATE THERMAL MODELLING OF BUNDLES OF MULTIPLE TUBES IS DESCRIBED. THE COMPARISON OF THE HEAT TRANSFER ON BUNDLES OF TUBES WITH POROUS AND SMOOTH COATINGS SHOWED THAT THE USE OF AN INTENSIFIED HEAT EXCHANGE SURFACE MAKES IT POSSIBLE TO IMPROVE THE SURFACE HEAT EXCHANGE COEFFICIENT BY ABOUT 1.5 TO 2 TIMES.
