INFLUENCE DE LA TEMPERATURE DE STOCKAGE SUR DIFFERENTES SOUCHES VIRALES LYOPHILISEES.

Author(s) : PREAUD J. M.

Summary

THE INFECTIVE TITRE AND RESIDUAL MOISTURE BEHAVIOUR AT DIFFERENT TEMPERATURES OF THREE LIVE FREEZE-DRIED PRODUCTS (BIVALENT: DISTEMPER + CANINE HEPATITIS, NEWCASTLE DISEASE: HB1 AND LA SOTA STRAINS) WAS STUDIED. AT 253 K (-20 DEG C) BOTH INFECTIVE TITRE AND RESIDUAL MOISTURE OF THE FOUR STRAINS WERE FOUND TO REMAIN STABLE. AT 278 K (5 DEG C) THE INFECTIVE TITRE OF THE DISTEMPER COMPONENT OF THE BIVALENT MIXTURE WAS FOUND TO DECREASE ; STORAGE AT 253 K IS NOT NECESSARY FOR PRODUCTS STABLE AT 278 K (CONTAGIOUS CANINE HEPATITIS, NEWCASTLE DISEASE: HB1 AND LA SOTA STRAINS).
