Summary

NdFeB alloy and sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS) were simultaneously added to form HCFC-141b gas hydrate quickly under static condition. The influences of the surfactants on the induction time and the advance region of the gas hydrate were analyzed. The analysis result shows that SDS inhibits the nucleation process of HCFC-141b gas hydrate formation but improves the growing rate of the gas hydrate after the nucleation process. Moreover, NdFeB alloy accelerates the nucleation process greatly. It seems that the gas hydrate could form rapidly by the combination of these two surfactants.
