A BRIEF DESCRIPTION IS GIVEN OF THE TORONTO CITY HALL. MONTHLY UTILITY BILLS WERE PROCESSED USIGN THE SUMAC COMPUTERIZED ENERGY AUDIT PROGRAM WHICH PROVIDES A BREAKDOWN OF ENERGY USE INTO COMPONENT PARTS AND COSTS. ANALYSIS OF THE ENERGY AUDIT SHOWED THAT CHANGES IN OPERATING HOURS, MECHANICAL SYSTEMS AND LIGHTING LOADS COMBINED WITH OTHER RETROFIT MEASURES WOULD PROVIDE 24% ENERGY SAVINGS. THE CITY OF TORONTO HAS REALIZED TOTAL ENERGY SAVINGS IN EXCESS OF $ 900,000 TO THE END OF 1985 FOR A CAPITAL OUTLAY OF $ 753,250. E.W.S.
