Summary
High demands are placed on modern buildings. We require them to be safe, highly comfortable for use, and we want low operating costs. In order to achieve these requirements, buildings are equipped with a variety of features that ensure the desired functions. For an energy efficient building it is appropriate to optimize the functions of each installed system through control automation. This paper focuses on an open decentralized control system that uses single bus system KNX/EIB. It focuses primarily on the configurations and changes of the system through the software ETS. The paper includes a real example of the configuration of the control of certain elements under conditions at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague. Measurements of the magnetic field in the vicinity of the installation in the different types of load were also performed.
