Type of article: Article

Summary

EXTENSIVE MEASUREMENTS HAVE BEEN CARRIED OUT TO OBTAIN INFORMATION ON THE REPRODUCIBILITY OF R(AT 0 DEG C) INDIRECTLY USING DIFFERENT TRIPLE POINT CELLS AND THE SAME RESISTANCE THERMOMETER. FOR TWO CELLS, RAT THE TRIPLE POINT RISES SLOWLY AND BECOMES CONSTANT AFTER A PERIOD OF THREE DAYS FROM THE START OF FORMATION OF THE MANTLE. THE REPRODUCIBILITY OF THE TEMPERATURE OBTAINED AFTER THIS PERIOD IS ABOUT 0.0001 K.
