Summary
A procedure for the calculation of the room climate is described. This system makes use of ventilation and consideration of heat and moisture storage in the materials constituting the building. A practicable procedure for the calculation of the ventilation needed during extreme summer weather periods is delivered herewith. It is especially designed for buildings with large or moderate heat storage capacity (housing, office buildings, etc.). In addition, it can be used in buildings with extremely large (e.g. very large buildings) or small heat storage capacity (e.g. intensively ventilated industrial buildings, or buildings constructed using extremely lightweight materials).
