Summary

THE AUTHORS PRESENT THE STUDY RESULTS FOR THE EFFECT OF THE WEAR OF HERMETIC PISTON COMPRESSORS WITH HIGH RPM ON THEIR VOLUMETRIC AND ENERGETIC PERFORMANCES WITH R12, R22 AND R502 IN A WIDE RANGE OF TEMPERATURES. THE CALCULATION METHOD FOR THE PENETRATION OF REFRIGERANT AT THE CONTACT LEVEL OF CYLINDER-PISTON IS DESCRIBED. THE WEAR OF COMPRESSORS AFTER 50,000 HRS WORK UNDER STANDARD CONDITIONS RESULTS IN 22% DECREASE IN REFRIGERATING CAPACITY AND 24% IN ELECTRIC COP.
