PROVIDES THE RESULTS OF EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATIONS OF HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER ON SINGLE FINNED TUBES 38 X 2.5 MILLIMETRESWITH A FIN SPACING OF 20 AND 30 MILLIMETRES, AND IN ADDITION ON A NON-FINNED PIPE OF IDENTICAL DIAMETER. OBTAINS CRITERIONAL DEPENDENCES FOR HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER ON THE FINNED SURFACES AND AN ANALYTICAL DEPENDENCE OF THE THICKNESS, MASS AND DENSITY OF THE COATING OF FROST ON THE TIME OF ITS BUILD UP ON THE COOLING SURFACE.
