Investigation of the pollution sources in air conditioning systems.

Author(s) : FINKE U.
Summary
The indoor air quality depends on a number of different factors for example the air-conditioning system. One reason for that is the sedimentations of dust and other particles in the system components. These sedimentations are influenced by production, handling and maintenance of the air conditioning system. The investigations were made on a 26 year old system. The components were judged under the view of dust, hygienic conditions and perceived air quality. After knowing the main sources some methods for cleaning the components were checked.
