Summary

THE METALS INVESTIGATED WERE TIN, ALUMINIUM AND ZINC, MATTHIESSEN'S RULE FOR THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY BEING USED. ANALYSIS WAS MADE OF THE INFLUENCE OF PLASTIC DEFORMATION AND NEUTRON RADIATION ON THE THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY OF ALUMINIUM AND THAT OF BRASS WITH VARIOUS ZINC CONTENTS. THE RESULTS ARE BRIEFLY DISCUSSED.
