Summary
The model of a continuous process of freeze-drying is solved with the help of the method of final elements. On the basis of the suggested mathematical model, a highly effective drier is developed, which allows destruction of the dried-up layer and use of the heat of heating-up in the compressor coolant for sublimation of moisture from a product.
