Based on a one-dimensional coupling Lagrangian eddy-particle interaction model, the article reports on a numerically simulation behaviour of particles in smooth horizontal and vertical ventilating ducts for a variety of particle sizes ranging from 10 to 200 µm at different air speeds of 7 and 9 m/s.
