Summary
Mechanical ventilation is effective in lowering the temperature in long and narrow spaces at non-normal temperature. The authors simulated the influence of different ventilating rates on the temperature distribution. They established a test-rig based on the similitude laws. A comparison showed that the simulation results are in quite good agreement with those of the experiment. This validates the practicability of using simulation methods to study similar engineering problems.
