LAMINAR FILM CONDENSATION OF HALOGENATED HYDROCARBONS IN THE PRESENCE OF AIR OF NON-HOMOGENEOUS CONCENTRATION.

Author(s) : WEI B., QIAO Y., LIU J.

Summary

A MATHEMATICAL MODEL WAS DEVELOPED RELATING TO HEAT TRANSFER WITH NON-HOMOGENEOUS FILM CONDENSATION. THE DISTRIBUTION OF THE THICKNESSES OF AIR-VAPOUR BOUNDARY LAYER AND THE THICKNESSES OF CONDENSATION FILM WERE DETERMINED. THE NON-HOMOGENEITY EFFECT OF NON-CONDENSABLE GASES ON HEAT TRANSFER WAS CONSIDERED IN THE CALCULATION. THE PAPER PRESENTS A TEST STUDY ON R113-AIR OVER A VERTICAL PLANE SURFACE. THEORETICAL RESULTS AGREE WITH TEST DATA.
