THE INFLUENCE ON THE VELOCITY PROFILE, OF A THERMAL FIELD IMPOSED TO A LAMINAR FLOW PIPE OF A PSEUDOPLASTIC FLUID, HAS BEEN STUDIED. THE IMPORTANCE OF TEMPERATURE DEPENDENT RHEOLOGICAL PROPERTIES HAS BEEN ACCOUNTED, EITHER FOR NUMERICAL APPROACH OF THE VELOCITY PROFILE, OR FOR THE DETERMINATION OF A MORE GENERAL CORRELATION BETWEEN THE NUSSELT NUMBER AND ADEQUATE DIMENSIONLESS PARAMETERS.
