Summary

Description of a simple and rapid method for the simultaneous dosage of ammonia and biogenic amines in fish of three species stored at 0 deg C. Based on the results, new decomposition indices were defined that are less species-dependent than analyses of total volatile basic nitrogen, trimethylamine and phosphorus percentage.
