PUTERAN INTAN is the first in a series of five 130,000 m3 capacity LNG carriers incorporating the Gaz Transport Membrane cargo containment system being built by Chantiers de l'Atlantique in St Nazaire, France, for a Malaysian owner. The vessel is designed to carry LNG close to atmospheric pressure and at a temperture of -163 deg C. General arrangement drawings are included in the article.
