Summary
Two processes may be adopted: a refrigerated display case or localized treatment of the part of the shop where the flowers are stored. After having recorded the preferences and the constraints of the florists concerning the commercial lay-out, the CoSTIC carried out a measurement programme on a device of each type running in a shop for several years. Supplementary measures could be taken advantageously to humidify the air around the flowers and minimize the mixture with ambient air.
