Type of article: Article
Summary
The supply of LPG is expected to grow by 17.1% from 1994 to 1997, when it will begin to outstrip demand. Although growth in demand will be strong in Asia, the Middle East and Latin America, it will be stagnant elsewhere. Growth in supply will come mainly from gas plants, and not refineries. The article reviews the situation in Africa, Australia, North America and South America, and for the different substances involved.
