Summary

EXPERIMENTAL DEPENDENCES OF NEEL TEMPERATURE, SUPERCONDUCTING TRANSITION TEMPERATURE, DENSITY OF NONMAGNETIC COPPER IONS AND HOLE CONCENTRATION IN THE COPPER-OXYGEN PLANE ARE ANALYSED THEORETICALLY IN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE MODEL PROPOSED TRANQUADA ET AL. SIMPLE MECHANISM OF HOLE GENERATION RESULTING FROM CHANGING THE OXYGEN CONTENT IS SHOWN TO YIELD THEORETICAL ESTIMATION FOR THE ABOVE QUANTITIES, AS WELL AS FOR PAIR INTERACTIONS OF NONSTOICHIOMETRIC OXYGEN, WHICH ARE IN QUANTITATIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE EXPERIMENTAL DATA.
