Summary

A DEVICE WAS DEVELOPED IN ORDER TO EVALUATE THE COMFORT CONDITIONS IN A CAR. BECAUSE OF THE SMALL DIMENSIONS OF THE PASSENGER SPACE, THE MEASUREMENT INSTRUMENT MUST BE AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE OF THE DIMENSIONS AND SHAPE OF THE HUMAN BODY AND HAS TO SIMULATE THE USUAL POSITION OF THE DRIVER AND PASSENGERS. ADEQUATELY FITTED WITH INSTRUMENTS, A MANNEQUIN HAS BEEN CALIBRATED BY MEANS OF THE POLYVALENT CALORIMETER OF THE < DIPARTIMENTO DI ENERGETICA > OF THE < POLITECNICO > IN TURIN WHICH MAKES IT POSSIBLE TO CONTROL THE TEMPERATURE AND AIR RATE, THE WALL TEMPERATURE AND THE RELATIVE HUMIDITY.
