Summary

Intended for exporters from developing countries, this manual gives some background information on the packaging of cut flowers, leaves and potted plants and packaging materials, importers' requirements, quality standards and regulations of imports of European countries, the United States, Canada and Japan. Appendices give a list of European Union regulations for cut flowers, those of the EEC/ONU for cut flowers and leaves, and those of the United States for cut flowers. The editing and publication of this work were financed by a special contribution of Finland to the UNCTAD/GATT International Trade Centre.
