Summary

Mathematical model of condensation process on air cooled condenser operating in small refrigeration device operating with zeotropic blend of saturated hydrocarbons propane and n-butane has been presented in this paper. Criteria of change of two-phase flow pattern as well as model assumptions have been discussed. Model is based on conservation equations of momentum, energy, and mass of the i-component of the blend. Temperature and pressure at any point of the condenser can be determined on the basis of the solution of the set of differential equations formulated in the paper. Graphical interpretation of results in the phase diagrams has been presented.
