Summary

THE GENERAL METHODOLOGY FOR THE MEASUREMENT OF VENTILATION IS DESCRIBED WITH THE TRACER SYSTEM AND THE MOST COMMON TESTING PROCESSES. THE CONCEPT OF < VENTILATION EFFICIENCY > IS DEFINED, ALSO ILLUSTRATING THE PROCEDURES OF EXPERIMENTAL DETERMINATION. THE RESULTS OF SOME MEASUREMENTS ARE GIVEN. THE MEASUREMENTS MADE SHOWED THAT THE ACCURACY OF THE CONCENTRATION DECAY METHOD IS BETTER THAN 10% UPON AN AVERAGE.
