Summary
The authors observed the changes in heat flux through the human skin (i.e., forehead) caused by changes in thermal conditions. This led to a factor called "resultant forehead temperature". They tell how the cooling needs of the skin can be calculated, notably by using the relative humidity. Tests of the new measuring possibilities with test subjects are described.
