MEASUREMENTS AND CORRELATIONS OF THE THERMODYNAMIC PROPERTIES OF REFRIGERANT R134A.

Summary

EXTENDED MEASUREMENTS HAVE BEEN CARRIED OUT FOR R134A INCLUDING VAPOR PRESSURES AND PVT-PROPERTIES OF COMPRESSED LIQUID AND SUPERHEATED GAS FROM 20 TO 160 DEG C FROM 0.1 TO 16 MEGAPASCALS. THESE DATA, AS WELL AS RESULTS PUBLISHED BY OTHER RESEARCH GROUPS, ARE CORRELATED WITH A SET OF EQUATIONS WHICH CONSISTS OF EQUATIONS FOR THE VAPOR PRESSURE, THE SATURATED LIQUID DENSITY AND THE COMPRESSION FACO FS. FINALLY AN EQUATION OF STATE WAS FITTED TO THEENTIRE DATA. THE EQUATION OF STATE PERMITS THE CALCULATION OF ALL PVT-PROPERTIES IN THE TECHNICALLY IMPORTANT TEMPERATURE AND PRESSURE RANGE.
