THE PAPER REPORTS THE EXPERIMENTAL DATA CONCERNING THE PVT PROPERTIES OF R134A. 159 PVT PROPERTY DATA WERE MEASURED ALONG 24 ISOCHORES IN A RANGE OF TEMPERATURES FROM 310 TO 425 K, OF PRESSURES FROM 0.7 TO 12 MEGAPASCALS AND OF DENSITIES FROM 36 TO 1,144 KG/M3. 51 VAPOUR PRESSURES WERE MEASURED AT TEMPERATURES FROM 300 K TO THE CRITICAL TEMPERATURE. A VAPOUR PRESSURE EQUATION REPRESENTING THE EXPERIMENTAL DATA WITHIN ABOUT 0.2% WAS DEVELOPED. THE CRITICAL PRESSURE WAS DETERMINED AS 4.0640 MORE OR LESS 0. 0015 MEGAPASCAL IN THE COURSE OF DEVELOPING THE VAPOUR PRESSURE EQUATION WITH THE AID OF THE CRITICAL TEMPERATURE AND DENSITY MEASURED BY THE AUTHORS IN 1988.
