Summary

These proceedings contain 33 papers presented at this conference, sponsored by the IIR, held in Smolenice, Slovakia, September 26-28, 2001. This 4th international conference on compressors and coolants was organized by the Slovak Association for Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Technology and the Slovak Committee for cooperation with the IIR.
