Summary
Bertix software predicts refrigerating efficiency in a beef carcass chilling context, and analyzes refrigerating plant according to "energy saving" and "maximum capacity" models using this predictive method. Computer regulation was installed late 1997. The system operates very well and enables energy savings of 350,000 kilowatt-hours per year to be achieved.
