Summary

THE PAPER CONTAINS EXPERIMENTAL DATA ON ELECTROPHYSICAL PARAMETERS FOR SUPERCOOLED WATER AND ICE AS WELL AS AN APPROXIMATION OF THE RESULTING FREQUENCY DEPENDENCES IN THE RANGE OF 1 TO 10,000 MEGAHERTZ FOR THE FOLLOWING TEMPERATURES: 263, 253, 243 AND 233 K (-10, -20, -30 AND -40 DEG C). ON THE BASIS OF THE MATHEMATICAL MODEL FOR CELLULAR SUSPENSION DIELECTRIC WARMING, VALUES FOR LOCAL OVERHEATINGS OCCURRING IN THE SYSTEM AND THEIR FREQUENCY AND TEMPERATURE DEPENDENCES WERE DETERMINED. THE MAJOR ADVANTAGES OF HIGH FREQUENCY DIELECTRIC WARMING OVER ULTRAHIGH FREQUENCY DIELECTRIC WARMING WERE DEMONSTRATED.
