THE COMPUTER MODELLING OF THE HALLSCREW COMPRESSOR, BASED ON THE DISCOVERY OF THE SINGLE SCREW COMPRESSOR BY MR. ZIMMERN, INCLUDES A MASTER PROGRAMME AND SOME SUBROUTINES. THE MASTER PROGRAMME USES 2 DEG INCREMENTS OF ROTATION OF THE MAIN ROTOR AND ASSUMES ISENTROPIC COMPRESSION. LEAKAGES ARE CALCULATED BY A PORT FORMULA. SOME DATA ARE GIVEN ON AN R22 REFRIGERATING MACHINE, INCLUDING LEAKAGES AND EFFICIENCIES.
