Summary

Thermodynamic properties of refrigerant-oil mixtures are the foundation to predict performance of refrigeration system and to evaluate the influence of oil on the heat transfer and pressure drop. Models of thermodynamic and transport properties of POE VG68 and R410A/POE VG68 mixture were provided based on the analysis of the state-of-the-art correlations. The new models were developed by modifying coefficients in existing correlations with multiple regression method according to experimental data. The maximum deviations of the predicted values of these models to experiment data lied within 5%. These models can be used for R-410A/POE VG68 to obtain the accurate and reliable thermodynamic and transport parameters in order to evaluate the influence of POE VG68 on the performance of R-410A refrigeration system.
