Summary
The hemangiomas of cutaneous integuments and mucous membranes are benign vascular formations that occur very often and represent 50% of different soft tissue tumours in children. The experience of scientists, engineers and physicians over a period of more than 30 years on the development and clinical application of CRYO-SHFW technologies for the treatment of hemangiomas in children, one of the most complicated problems encountered in paediatric surgery, is described in this work.
