Summary
The proposals are made for improving the systems: 1) preliminary cooling through the oil-containing flow taken out by the liquid separator; 2) use of supplemental separation; 3) preliminary cooling with a separate system. Research was done on the effects of these modifications on the refrigerating system's specifications. It was found that simple alterations can improve efficiency and reliability considerably.
