Multiphase flow of refrigerant 410A through short tube orifices.
Author(s) : PAYNE W. V., O'NEAL D. L.
Summary
The (near) azeotropic refrigerant R410A, a mixture of 50% R32 and 50% R125 by mass, was tested in critical flow through short tube orifices of length 12.7, 19.05, and 25.4 mm with diameters ranging from 1.09 to 1.94 mm. Simulated condensing temperatures ranged from 26.7 to 51.7 °C with evaporating conditions of -1.11 to 10.0 °C. Upstream pressures ranged from a peak value of 3176 to 2136 kPa.
