Type of article: Article

Summary

The authors present the relative regulation value of the negative pressure difference that needs to be maintained in biological clean rooms. The article analyses the relationship between the negative pressure difference value and air leakage from clean rooms. When the constant air volume valve is adopted to control the negative pressure, its precision has a severe effect on the control result. Based on field testing, the authors analyse the reasons for constant air volume valve failure to keep a constant air volume and put forward the concept of air leakage exchange rate and application condition of the constant air volume valve on the negative pressure difference control in clean rooms. The article discusses the method of using VAV valves and manual regulating valves to control the negative pressure difference in clean rooms.
