Summary
The article presents new air conditioners using HFC-410A that were introduced in Japan early in 1998. These models achieve highest energy efficiency among the 4 kilowatt and 5 kilowatt air conditioners. They include new rotary compressors, high performance heat exchangers, new type electronic control expansion valves which are optimized for R410A. A new inverter controller is also developed for these models.
