New generation refrigerants for low global warming potentials.
Author(s) : SAHA S. K., RAHMAN M. A., BHATTACHARYYA S.
Summary
In the current study, an assessment was done on some characteristics of new generation low global warming potential value gases most of which are at the experimental stage. Hydrofluoro-olefin based mixed gases having low global warming potential value were studied as substitutes to four different refrigerants used frequently in refrigerating and air conditioning equipment. In this study, new generation low global warming potential value gases were used instead of regularly used refrigerant gases. Refrigerants were evaluated within their own groups in terms of liquid density and viscosity properties.
