Summary

The transportation of pharmaceutical products is a major issue. In 2011, 21.7 billion of euros for drugs were sold in French pharmacies and 5.9 billion of euros were sold in hospitals. The presence of thermosensitie products in this market forces all those involved in the transport to be increasingly vigilant. In this approach, the national order of pharmacists has published recommendations on health-product transport under controlled temperatures (5 °C ± 3 °C).These recommendations touch on the new truck-compliance control methods in the pharmaceutical field. This article presents these new quality requirements for ways of getting thermosensitive health products safely distributed.
