New possibilities of child's haemangioma cryosurgery: SHFW-treatment.

Summary

The most effective method of simple haemangioma treatment applying now is local cryodestruction. The success rate is 99.9%. The first greatest advantage of this treatment is after cryosurgery skin regeneration that gives good cosmetic and aesthetic results. The second one is that really good conditions are created for preservation of a cutaneous integument and specific facial tissues, especially taking into account future plastic and reconstructive surgery. The method is based on increasing of cryogenic destruction by a preliminary action of superhigh frequency waves of electromagnetic field (SHFW EMF) on the local freezing region. The retrospective analysis of the data made it possible to formulate future indications for using a SHFW cryotherapy method: a quick growing of deep haemangioma when the anatomical localization is complicated, and when a previous treatment by other methods was unsuccessful. The application of this method does not depend on the age of a child.
