THE CYCLE AND THE MECHANISM OF THE SORPTION HEAT TRANSFER ARE CONSIDERED. THE ADVANTAGES AND DRAWBACKS OF THE NEW TYPE OF HEAT PUMP ARE SHOWN, COMPARED TO CONVENTIONAL UNITS. ONE ADVANTAGE IS THE POSSIBLE USE OF WASTE HEAT AT A LOWER LEVEL AND THE OPERATING EFFICIENCY OF THE PLANT AT CRITICAL PARAMETERS OF THE LOW BOILING POINT COMPONENT.
