Solid sorption heat pump/refrigerator especially heat exchange between two sorbers in countercurrent mode.

Author(s) : LUDWIG J.

Summary

The performance of a solid sorption heat pump especially heat exchange between two sorbers with overlap of temperatures in countercurrent mode has been studied using a simplified mathematical model for the service conditions of an air-conditioning heat pump having a low temperature rise, and a low temperature heating system having a high temperature rise. The heat transfer fluid maximum temperature varied between 200 and 300 °C. Various performance and COP figures are published.
