Summary

Three articles are presented on this subject. The first is based on an analysis of the sound levels provided by manufacturers. The second gives the sound levels measured during a measuring programme at 13 sites. The last article recapitulates the methods for provisionally calculating noise levels at a distance from the towers and the technical solutions for reducing the noise nuisance of this equipment.
