Summary

IF NON CONDENSABLE GASES GET INTO THE AMMONIA CONDENSERS, EVEN AT A VERY LOW CONCENTRATION, A SIGNIFICANT PART OF THE HEAT TRANSFER OF THE CONDENSER MAY BE INACTIVATED. IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO MAKE BETTER USE OF THE HEAT-TRANSFER SURFACES, IT MAY BE VERY EFFECTIVE TO INSERT A DEAERATING CONDENSER IN THE SERIES OF CONDENSERS.
