Summary
The authors simulate numerically the velocity field and the temperature field in large space buildings separately adopting register sidewall air supply and sidewall return, nozzle outlet sidewall air supply and sidewall return, diffuser ceiling air supply and below return, stratified air conditioning and displacement ventilation, and verify the results by experiments. The results indicate that stratified air conditioning and displacement ventilation are better modes for air conditioning in buildings with a large space.
