Summary

For large arena space cooling systems, air distribution from high walls using large horizontal nozzles would create a strong draught originating in primary cold air, which is usually called a 'cold spot'. In order to achieve more even air distribution and temperature for this application, it is suggested that air movement with a low velocity and swirling movement, be used. Measured data show that the result obtained is better than the initial situation.
