Summary

A detailed one-dimensional steady and transient numerical simulation has been developed and presented in part 1 of this article (see this Bulletin, reference 2003 - 1240). The accuracy of the detailed simulation model is demonstrated in this part by comparison with experimental data from the technical literature. Numerical results and parametric studies for concentric capillary tube-suction line heat exchangers are also presented.
